Protein Smoothie Bowl

Incorporating good healthy fats & protein into your smoothie or smoothie bowl is a great way to help regulate the blood sugar spike we can get from the natural sugars from the fruit. We love to do this by adding a good clean protein powder, collagen powder, coconut yoghurt and of course, Paleo Hero Granola! We also love sneaking some extra veggies into EVERYTHING because you can never have enough veggies! We promise you won't even know they are there. 

Things you Need

  • 2 frozen bananas
  • 1/2 cup frozen cauliflower (we lightly steam ours before we freeze it)
  • 1/2 cup coconut yoghurt 
  • 2 tbs collagen powder or protein powder
  • 2 cups frozen or fresh berries for topping
  • TOPPERS - granola, coconut, nuts, seeds, fruit

Method

In a high speed blender or food processor blend the frozen cauliflower, bananas and yoghurt until smoothie. Pour into a bowl. In the same blender add the berries and blend until smooth. Add the berry puree to the top of the smoothie bowl, top with granola & dig in! 

If you just wanted a smoothie for breakfast on the run just add all the ingredients to the blender and process together.
